Stucchi's BM3_3x4Stucchi Inc. recently introduced a new multi-coupling plate technology, the BM3 multi-coupling plate which is designed to allow operators to simultaneously connect and disconnect large diameter (1 1/2-in.) lines that contain residual pressure. This reduces operator error and improves KPIs (key performance indicators), saving companies time and money in the field.

According to Scott Rolston, President of Stucchi Inc., the BM3 multi-coupling plate eliminates crossing of lines and coupler damage. “The BM3 offers a single motion connection and auto-locking system that improves the circuit,” he said. “Companies can expect increased productivity and efficiency with reduced downtime and reduced operator error, eliminating leakage and contamination on the job site.”

The BM3 simultaneously connects and disconnects two 1 1/2-in. lines, with residual pressure up to 3,625 psi, and a working pressure of 5,100 psi, creating a complete leak-free connection. BM3 multi-coupling plate technology offers users:

  • Improved safety by managing stored energy in circuit, reducing danger to operator
  • Increased efficiency and reduced downtime, ensuring complete leak-free connection with no crossing of lines
  • Greater productivity with less human error, equaling less catastrophic pump or motor failure
  • Simple single motion connection with auto locking system

Ideal equipment applications for the BM3 multi-coupling plate technology include oil and gas, industrial, mining, construction, pile driving, crane equipment and more.
